{"componentChunkName":"component---node-modules-csam-gatsby-theme-guides-src-templates-documentation-js","path":"/docs/ug116/","webpackCompilationHash":"9887d4de5ab7489123d8","result":{"data":{"allFile":{"edges":[{"node":{"name":"ug116","childMarkdownRemark":{"html":"<p>A status transfer can be used to change the Asset Status from one status to another and/or from one Stock Location to another.</p>\n<p>For example:</p>\n<pre><code>1) From Asset Status ‘Available’ to Asset Status ‘Transfer’\n\n2) From Stock Location ‘Altens’ to ‘Bridge of Don’\n</code></pre>\n<p>This will update the Asset Status field within Asset Details.</p>\n<h2>Locate the Status Transfer Dataset</h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Select <strong>Operations,</strong> then <strong>Status Transfers</strong>:</li>\n</ol>\n<p><img src=\"/img//operations/ug116/ug116-001.png\" alt=\"Status Transfers Dataset\"></p>\n<h2>Create a Status Transfer</h2>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Select <strong>New Record>Status Transfers</strong> or hit <strong>Insert</strong> on your keyboard.</li>\n<li>Fill in the relevant fields.</li>\n</ol>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Note:</strong> (Pink = System Generated, Blue = Mandatory):</p>\n</blockquote>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Field</th>\n<th>Description</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Transfer Date</td>\n<td>Select/Enter the relevant date</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Asset Status</td>\n<td>Select the status you wish to assign your assets to</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Reason</td>\n<td>Select the relevant reason for the Status Transfer</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Status Transfer (Hdr)</strong></td>\n<td></td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>From Office</td>\n<td>Select the relevant office the Asset(s) currently reside at</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>From Stock Location</td>\n<td>Select the relevant stock location the Asset(s) currently reside at</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>To Group Company</td>\n<td>Select the relevant group company. If remaining the same you still need to select it as this field is mandatory.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>To Office</td>\n<td>Select the relevant office. If remaining the same you still need to select it as this field is mandatory.</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>To Stock Location</td>\n<td>Select the relevant stock location. If remaining the same you still need to select it as this field is mandatory.</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Select <strong>Functions>Select Assets for Transfer</strong>, running this function will open the <strong>Asset Details</strong> search screen.</li>\n<li>Enter the Asset Number you wish to transfer, or using the search fields enter as much criteria as possible and select multiple rows as required. Select Close.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Select Yes to continue or No to cancel the operation.</p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>The system will automatically return you to the <strong>Status Transfer (Hdr)</strong>, select the <strong>Asset Transfers</strong> tab to view the list of assets allocated to the Status Transfer record.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><img src=\"/img//operations/ug116/ug116-002.png\" alt=\"Asset Transfers\"></p>\n<h2>Complete a Status Transfer</h2>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Select <strong>Functions>Complete Status Transfer</strong>.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Select Yes to continue or No to cancel the operation.</p>\n<p>Select OK.</p>\n<p>The Status Transfer is now complete.</p>","frontmatter":{"title":"How to Create and Complete a Status Transfer","tags":["operations","create","add","complete","status","transfer","asset","stock","location"]}}}}]}},"pageContext":{"isCreatedByStatefulCreatePages":false,"slug":"ug116"}}}
